Aerospace and defense industries generate large quantities of waste solvents, fuels, and chemicals from various maintenance, machining and degreasing operations. These spent chemicals are present in wastewater process or environmental remediation process streams at most facilities. The HiPOx process offers proven destruction of organic chemicals to very low concentrations with a much smaller footprint. In many installations HiPOx systems serve to enhance or replace costly and high-maintenance conventional treatment options such as air-stripping or carbon adsorbtion. The powerful oxidation chemistry of our HiPOx process not only helps improve performance, it improves air emissions and reduces or eliminates process residuals and waste. Moreover, treated effluent meets permit limits and is well-suited for reuse as cooling makeup water, or for on-site irrigation.
