Using proven ozone (O3) + hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) chemistry that produces the hydroxyl radical (OH•), the HiPOx process can rapidly oxidize many organic compounds up to 1-billion times faster than other oxidants such as ozone alone. APTwater’s patented multi-step injection process produces a carefully controlled and extremely efficient oxidative chain reaction. The result is a treatment process that is cost competitive with other technologies, such as carbon adsorption, does not have the inherent limitations of UV-based systems, and produces no waste by-products.
