Terrill E. Applebury, Applied Process Technology, Inc.
Terry Applebury is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Applied Process Technology, Inc. Mr. Applebury was instrumental in conceiving the Company's new advanced oxidation process, HiPOx. Prior to co-founding Applied, Mr. Applebury served over 25 years in a variety of senior research, development and management positions with Dow Chemical Corporation where he also acted as contributor and advisor to the formation and growth of numerous start-up companies. Over the years he has established a reputation in the industry for improving processes and productivity, starting up new operations, and turning scientific ideas into commercialized products. Mr. Applebury is responsible for conducting ongoing academic research and extensive scientific studies intended to improve upon the Company's existing technologies. Mr. Applebury received both his BS and MS degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University.
Randall Blank, SEACOR Environmental Services Inc.
Randall Blank, Chairman of the Board, was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of SEACOR Environmental Services Inc. (SES) in September 2005. From December 1989 to September 2005, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SEACOR Holdings Inc. (SEACOR). From October 1992 to September 2005, he also served as the Secretary of SEACOR. From December 1989 to October 1992, Mr. Blank was Treasurer of SEACOR. In addition, Mr. Blank has been a director of certain of SEACOR's subsidiaries since January 1990 and, since October 1997, has been the President of the Company's environmental services segment. Mr. Blank is a director of Globe Wireless, Applied Process Technology Inc., and prior to the Chiles Offshore merger Mr. Blank served as a director of Chiles Offshore Inc.
Peter J. Coxon, Seacor Holdings Inc.
Peter Coxon is a Vice President of Seacor Holdings Inc, a diversified company with holdings in the marine transportation and environmental businesses, where he oversees product development and information technology. Prior to joining Seacor Holdings in 2000, Mr. Coxon held the positions of Business Transition Manager and Director of Marine Legislative and Regulatory Affairs at ARCO Marine Inc, a subsidiary of the Atlantic Richfield Corporation. While at ARCO, he helped build successful ventures in China and Qatar and later led efforts to divest the marine division prior to ARCO's merger with British Petroleum. From 1985-1994 Mr. Coxon served as a commissioned officer in the United States Coast Guard. He has served as a Member of the U.S. Delegation to the United Nation's International Maritime Organization. Mr. Coxon holds Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is also a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy.
Kurt P. Gilson, Kinetic Systems, Inc.
Kurt Gilson is the President of Kinetic Systems, Inc., the nation's largest supplier of high purity piping systems to the semiconductor, biotechnology, and industrial markets. He has been employed by Kinetics during the past 15 years and previously served as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development responsible for mergers and acquisitions. During that time, he completed 20 acquisitions within a 20-month period. Mr. Gilson received his BS in Mechanical Engineering and his BA in Political Science from Cornell University. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Deep Springs College.
Mark E. Miller, Miller Environmental Group Inc.
Mark Miller is the President and owner of Miller Environmental Group, Inc., a family-owned provider of environmental remediation services and solutions and a key alliance partner to Applied Process Technology, Inc. on the East Coast. From 1992 to 1997, prior to his management of Miller Environmental Group, Mr. Miller served as the President of NRC, the largest commercial oil spill response company in the United States. NRC was a joint venture started by Miller Environmental Group and Seacor Holdings Inc.
Dr. Rolf G. Sommerhaug
Rolf G. Sommerhaug is a practicing cardiac and thoracic surgeon and the Director of Cardiovascular Services for the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health System. He previously served as the Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Mt. Diablo Hospital in Concord, California. Dr. Sommerhaug has been in private practice since 1971 and has authored 10 papers on the topic of coronary bypass surgery, seven of which have been published in major medical journals. He has been a guest lecturer in the United States as well as internationally, and thus his attributes as an educator are well known in his community and at local hospitals.
