Innovative, Waste-Free Technologies For Clean Water
Clean, fresh water is a basic need that is critical for human life, our natural ecosystems, and our industrial and economic health. Applied Process Technology, Inc.'s (“Applied’s”) core business is the development, commercialization, and implementation of advanced treatment technologies that protect and restore our vital water resources.
Applied provides cost-effective, technically superior water treatment solutions and services to the drinking water, environmental remediation, and process water and wastewater markets. We focus on delivering solutions for hard-to-treat contaminants that cannot be addressed cost effectively with conventional treatment technologies.
Unlike many treatment solutions, Applied technologies do not generate waste streams that require additional treatment or handling. All of our solutions are designed to destroy contaminants on site rather than transfer them to another medium or location. Our waste-free technologies are better for the environment while delivering significant economic benefits to our clients.
HiPOx, our initial product line, utilizes an advanced oxidation process that destroys a wide variety of recalcitrant water contaminants including petroleum constituents MTBE and TBA, and the solvent stabilizer 1,4 dioxane. Our new in-situ PulseOx products treat contaminated groundwater directly in the aquifer, thus cutting total treatment time and costs. Additionally, we are currently developing an autotrophic biological reduction process to treat perchlorate and nitrate impacted waters.
Dozens of commercial treatment systems are operating at a range of facilities including industrial/manufacturing sites, petroleum terminals and service stations, military installations, and water utility well fields.
Applied's senior management team-which is comprised of executives, engineers and scientists from the chemical, water, and environmental industries-collectively hold over 15 patents. The company has also raised over $10.5 million in equity funding to continue its commitment to developing truly innovative, cost-effective solutions to our client's most difficult treatment needs.
Please take a look at what we have to offer. Then ask us the hard questions. That's when we really shine!
