Recognition for APTwater’s significant water technology breakthroughs and potential
LONG BEACH, Calif., May 17, 2011 – APTwater, Inc., (www.aptwater.com) an emerging leader in water treatment process technologies and services, has been named to the Artemis Project’s 2011 Top 50 Water Technology Companies list. The Top 50 identifies the most promising companies that are applying innovation in the market to address today’s dire water challenges. The Artemis Project revealed its list at the Ontario H20 Global Water Leadership Summit in Toronto, Canada.
Since 2009, the Artemis Project has sponsored the Top 50 competition to identify the leading technologies that provide venture grade investment opportunities in the water sector. The competition is an assessment of a company’s ability to become an industry leader through market opportunity, depth of intellectual property, strength of company management team, and its investors. “The Artemis Top 50 is the water industry’s benchmark for recognizing innovation that will matter. It identifies the entrepreneurs that are applying technology to meet the world’s water challenges,” noted Laura Shenkar, principal at the Artemis Project.
“We are honored to have been nominated for the award, as it represents the hard work, dedication, and vision of our entire team,” said APTwater, Inc. President and CEO David Stanton. APTwater’s HiPOx, PulseOx, and ARoNite technologies destroy a wide range of hard-to-treat contaminants without producing costly and environmentally damaging waste residuals.
